The clocks have gone back, so we're allowed to start thinking of Christmas. Why not give a gift membership of the HPS?  Order online or contact the office.

Jubilee Open Gardens

It is very exciting to have over 60 HPS members' gardens opening to the public as part of the celebrations for our 60th anniversary. Each garden owner has chosen when they would like to open, so that their garden can be seen at its peak and ‘star’ plants can be at their best. Some are open on fixed dates and others by arrangement with the owner. We have listed those open on fixed dates first, but don't forget to look for those open by arrangement a bit further on.  To visit these, contact the owner and arrange a time. You will be made very welcome and often the owner will give you a personal tour.

There is an entry fee, similar to that charged for the National Gardens Scheme. Apart from £1 to cover  administration costs, this goes either to charity or to the local HPS group.  The charities are wide ranging and during the early part of the year include Motor Neurone Association, Medical Research for Children, Children's Hospice South West and Parkinsons.

All the gardens are listed below in date order. Scroll down to view those opening by arrangement.
