Funakoshi and Highwood, Cranmore Avenue, Cranmore, Isle of Wight 

Two very different gardens emphasising the importance of hardy perennials in providing colour throughout the year

Developed over 35 years, Highwood has a mature woodland area as well as a pond and Mediterranean border. Funakoshi has been developed over nine years with many borders displaying a wide range of shrubs and perennials. Both gardens also contain some less familiar plants and all items for sale have been grown in the gardens.

Thursday, 29th June  2pm-5pm
£6 for entry to the two gardens
Also open for local hospice and other charities

How to find the gardens

Funakoshi, Cranmore Avenue, Cranmore, Isle of Wight, PO41 0XR
Highwood, Cranmore Avenue, Cranmore, Isle of Wight, PO41 0XS

Both gardens are situated on Cranmore Avenue off the main road between Yarmouth and Newport, Isle of Wight. There are bus stops at the end of Cranmore Avenue and parking on the field at Highwood or on Cranmore Avenue itself. Cranmore Avenue is narrow so please park on one side only. Funakoshi garden is partially accessible for wheelchairs but there are some steps at Highwood.
