Hardy Plant Society

Events

Each year the society organises several national events, all hosted by a local group, which are open to members. These vary from study days on specific hardy plant genera to a Summer Gardens day, usually held in June or July and either an Autumn Weekend of Garden visits or a late Summer study day. These events give members the opportunity to meet fellow enthusiasts from other parts of the country, to learn about specific plant families and to visit gardens that are not generally open to the public.

If the event name is a link, follow it for more information on that event.

Please note:
Events organised by local groups often include visits to the gardens of ordinary HPS members. Visitors will obviously need to take care as there may be uneven paths, spiky plants and other everyday hazards. Members attend all HPS events at their own risk.

Overseas Tours
Overseas Tours are run from time to time and will be included in the above list.
