Coach Trip to Beervelde Park Plant Fair, near Ghent, Belgium

HPS Kent Group are organising a one day coach trip to Beervelde Park Plant Fair, which is near Ghent in Belgium on Saturday, 9th October 2010. The coach will leave from the motorway service area at Junction 8 of the M20 at 6.30 a.m. All day parking is available at the service area for a charge of £10 per car. There is another pick-up point at Sellidge, about 20 miles away, but we are not aware of any official parking arrangements at this site. The coach is expected to return from Belgium at about 8.30 p.m.
The cost of the trip will be about £40 (although this could be less if more people go on the trip), plus parking charges.
Beervelde Park claim that the event is "probably the most spectacular variety of plants and garden-related ware one could hope to see in Belgium" with more than 200 nurserymen, designers and artisans exhibits. Drakensberg Mountains, South Africa
Colin Moat of the HPS Kent group (operating as “Green Routes”) is planning more 14 day tours of South Africa’s Drakensberg Mountains, for HPS members with a maximum of 18 guests and an emphasis on the natural floral beauty of the area.
The Drakensberg (Dragon Mountain) area includes montane, sub-alpine and alpine vegetational belts, and is one of South Africa’s eight “Hot Spots” of botanical diversity.
