Correspondents Group

The Correspondents Group is open to all members of the HPS enabling them to contribute articles, snippets or letters on gardening topics for publication in the quarterly journal, which is printed in colour. Whilst of particular value to those who are unable to join a local group through geographical isolation or other limitations, the Correspondents Group welcomes those who do belong to a group, local or specialist.

The subscription rates for 2010 are £4 (UK members); £6 (Europe) and £10 for the rest of the world. Airmail postage as standard on overseas mailings.

Benefits of membership:

• Four newsletters a year, 20 pages each issue, in full colour.
• Publication of members’ articles, notes and letters.
• Year round seed list (25p per packet).
• Plant list in spring/summer/autumn.
• List of gardening sundries available to purchase: plant labels, marker pens, twist ties, wire rings etc.
• Correspond with other members, either directly or through the newsletter.

A specimen newsletter and an application form are available on request either by email or post. Do join us; UK members send a cheque for £4 made payable to ‘HPS Correspondents Group’ to the Secretary at the address below. Overseas members without a UK bank account contact Pam Adams to arrange your payment.
