Description

The Wilts and Avon Group is open to anyone who has an interest in hardy perennial plants. We are a friendly organisation who organise talks and garden visits for our members.

We welcome visitors to our meetings. We charge £1 for members, and £2 for visitors, with homemade cakes and tea a further £1.

We meet at Marshfield Village Hall (off the A420 Bristol Chippenham road), and Langley Burrell Village Hall (off the A420 one mile north of Chippenham). In addition, to cater for members who live in south Wiltshire, the Salisbury Plain Mini Group meet at Urchfont.

We pride ourselves upon the quality of our speakers, and the variety of topics which they cover. With plant sales, raffles, garden visits etc. there is plenty of opportunity to meet other keen gardeners and to share ideas and information in a convivial atmosphere.

We also have a very active mini-group who are based at Urchfront, near Devizes, at the Northern end of Salisbury Plain.
