Wiltshire and Avon Group
About the Group
The Wilts and Avon Group is open to anyone who has an interest in hardy perennial plants. We are a friendly organisation who organise talks and garden visits for our members.
We welcome visitors to our meetings. We charge £2 for members, and £3 for guests, with homemade cakes and tea a further £1.50.
We meet at Marshfield Community Centre (follow HPS signs from A420 Bristol - Chippenham Rd), and Langley Burrell Village Hall (1 mile north of Chippenham - follow signs through village). In addition, to cater for members who live in south Wiltshire, the Salisbury Plain Mini Group meet at Urchfont.
We pride ourselves upon the quality of our speakers, and the variety of topics which they cover. With plant sales, raffles, garden visits etc. there is plenty of opportunity to meet other keen gardeners and to share ideas and information in a convivial atmosphere.
