Brief description of plant
Herbaceous, clump-forming perennial.

90cm x 30cm
Lavender flowers with a deeper eye and silvery reverse. Appears puce-coloured in midday heat.
Green lance shaped leaves. Foliage often poor along lower third of stems.
July - Aug
Any moisture-retentive soil.
Full sun or part-shade
Pests and diseases
May be affected by powdery mildew in dry weather.
Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering. Cut back to ground level in late autumn.
Divide established clumps in spring or autumn or take basal cuttings in spring or strike from root cuttings in late autumn.
