Grown and sold by Blooms of Bressingham in small numbers, but not widely grown although a good plant.

Blooms of Bressingham.

Clump-forming herbaceous perennial.

Flowers
Double lilac with a yellow centre

Foliage
Dark green lanceolate leaves.

Flowering Time
August - Oct

Soil type
Any moisture-retentive soil.

Aspect
Full sun or part-shade

Pests and diseases
May be affected by powdery mildew in dry weather.

Cultivation
Best in a sunny position. Growth may be taller and require staking in shadier spots.

Propagation
Divide established clumps or take rooted stem cuttings from edge of clump.
