HPS interest as identified by a member.

Verification
A chance seedling (possible hybrid with H. rakaiensis), found by HPS Monmouthshire member and name registered with International Registration Authority for Hebe (NZ). Grown by Cotswold Garden Flowers

Brief description of plant
Evergreen shrub. A medium-sized hebe with attractively tinted foliage. Rather lax habit.

75cm x 75cm

Flowers
Spikes of pale lavender-blue, becoming paler later in the season.

Foliage
Evergreen. Small, lanceolate leaves with tints of bronze-purple on dark stems.

Flowering Time
June - July

Soil type
Any soil. Needs soil that doesn’t dry out in summer and has good winter drainage.

Aspect
Full sun or part-shade

Pests and diseases
Generally no problems.

Cultivation
Hardy, but if plant is cut back by frost it will often regenerate from the base.

Propagation
Soft or semi-ripe cuttings will root easily.
