Identified as an unusual form of Veratrum album by Keith Ferguson and named after his wife.

Keith Ferguson, Kew botanist and plantsman.

Brief description of plant
Statuesque herbaceous perennial. Awarded an RHS AGM in 2014

Height x Spread
210cm x 100cm

Flowers
Inflorescence is rather lax with branched spikelets, drooping at an angle of about 45 degrees to the stem. The flowers are a strong green.

Foliage
Pleated, elliptic dark green basal leaves and a few stem leaves.

Flowering Time
May - July

Soil type
Any moisture-retentive soil.

Aspect
Full sun

Pests and diseases
Slugs and snails may be a problem as new foliage emerges in spring.

Cultivation
May be slow to establish.

Propagation
Divide established clumps.
