Little known, but named in memory of Fran Varley, wife of first Worcs Group treasurer.

Brief description of plant
Clump-forming evergreen perennial with attractively marked foliage.

Flowers
Semi-double ‘starry’ rose-pink flowers with darker veining carried on trailing stems.

Foliage
Mid-green with attractive dark markings .

May - Sept

Soil type
Any soil.

Aspect
Part-shade

Pests and diseases
Generally no problems.

Cultivation
Tolerant of dry conditions, even under trees. Cut back after first flush of flowers to encourage longer flowering and tidy plant.

Propagation
Probably sterile (so no unwanted seedlings), but easy to propagate by division.
