Our presentation will include a brief history of the nursery at Severals Grange, Wood Norton. An informative look through the seasons with particular emphasis on getting all year round interest and colour with the use of grasses and coloured foliage plants. "2017 will be my 25th year of running the nursery and so we will be launching an exciting programme to mark that occasion."

'Around the World in 80 plants'

A look at the wide range of plants we can grow in this country and where they originate in the world, anecdotes and my experience of growing them at Bressingham. The vast majority are herbaceous plants...as grown in the Dell Garden at Bressingham.
25 March, 2017 9:00 am - 4:30 pm
We have a sub-committee who are making preparations for this event. We are holding this at Easton College which is just off the A47 behind the Norfolk Show Ground. A lot of organising has been done already, spearheaded by Len Speller who is our chief negotiator with the college and Chris Davies who is the chief negotiator with The National – they have both put in a stalwart effort in both negotiation and practical organisation and their determination and patience, especially in informing and listening to our sub-committee; within this sphere has been, and is, exemplary. Other members of the sub-committee have likewise been working just as diligently and we are fortunate that we have such a highly skilled group, whose diverse talents are all pulling towards making March 25th a celebration fit for our sixty years.
Tickets will cost around £22.00, celebration cake and refreshments during the day, with a hot midday meal option - being provided to buoy you up for all that plant buying, interspersed with listening to two erudite speakers
This really is an opportunity not to be missed - is on our doorstep and is a chance for us as a group to make members of HPS other groups from around the country feel welcome and, possibly encourage them to visit our gardens in Norfolk and Suffolk
