Herbaceous,clump-forming (rather than running) form of Rodgersia podophylla.

Panicles of white flowers to 180cm

Foliage
Jaggedly lobed, palmate leaves in rich red-bronze.

June - July

Soil type
Any moisture-retentive soil.

Part shade

Pests and diseases
Slugs may damage young leaves in spring.

Cultivation
Protect from drying winds. Cut back after flowering.

Propagation
Divide established clumps.
