Gardener at East Lambrook Manor who supplied plant to Hampshire Group.

Dense panicles of purple-tinged, pale -blue flowers approx 3cm in length
Narrow, slightly glossy, semi-evergreen foliage.
June - July
Any well-drained soil.
Full sun or part-shade
Pests and diseases
Slugs and snails may be a problem as new foliage emerges in spring.
In cold areas protect with a dry winter mulch and delay cutting back until late spring when no risk of frost.
Propagate by softwood cuttings in early summer or semi-ripe cuttings in midsummer.
