Historical interest. Grown by Blackthorn Nursery from seed collected by Roy Lancaster (HPS President) and introduced in 2008.

Brief description of plant
Clump-forming semi-evergreen perennial with many, relatively small flowers held above attractive foliage.

Flowers
Multiple stems carry sprays of pristine white flowers with long spurs and yellow stamens.
Foliage
New spring foliage is attractively speckled with deep purple markings. At maturity, the small semi-evergreen leaflets display an attractive silver overlay to main veins.

Soil type
Any soil, but needs soil that doesn’t dry out in summer and has good winter drainage.
