Given a First Class Certificate at RHS Flower Shows and grows well. Bought from a Plant Fair at Hergest Croft Garden.

Upright herbaceous perennial.

Flowers
Panicles of flowers can be up to 30cm long, each flower is white with a faint purplish mark in the throat and bright yellow anthers. Scented.

Narrow, glossy, dark green leaves on strong stems.

May be affected by powdery mildew in dry weather. Phlox eelworm.
Cultivation
Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering. Cut back to ground level in late autumn. Sturdy grower that does not usually need support.

Divide established clumps in spring or autumn or take basal cuttings in spring or strike from root cuttings in late autumn.
